What we store, and what we won't do.

What we store

• Your account: name, email, a hashed password (or a Google account link if you chose that).
• Your baby's records: name, birth or due date, optional gestation weeks and region, and everything you log — feeds, sleep, diapers, pumping, self-care, Book entries, milestones, appointments, and the photos you add.
• Preferences: language, theme, email-update rhythm, and whether you allowed notifications.
• Feedback you send us through the app.

What we don't do

• No advertising, no ad networks, no third-party analytics or tracking scripts. Neither this website nor the app makes requests to any company other than the one hosting it.
• We never sell or share your data. Caregivers you invite see the babies you invited them to, nothing else.
• Photos are only served to signed-in caregivers, or through signed links inside the emails you asked for.

Where it lives

On servers inside the European Union. Backups are encrypted and kept for 30 days.

Payments

Cradle Plus is a one-time purchase processed by Stripe (iDEAL or card). Stripe receives what it needs to take the payment; we store only that the purchase happened. No card details ever touch our servers.

Emails

You choose whether we email you at all, and how often — off, daily, weekly, or monthly — under Menu → Email updates. Book editions are a separate switch.

Cookies

One: the session cookie that keeps you signed in (cradle_session, HttpOnly, 90 days). This website sets none. Language and theme preferences stay in your browser's local storage and never leave it.

Your rights (GDPR / AVG)

• Export: everything, any time, as CSV — Menu → Export data. Free, always.
• Delete: Menu → Delete my account removes your account and every baby you were the only caregiver of, including photos, immediately. Babies shared with another caregiver stay with them.
• Access or correct: everything is editable in the app. For anything else, write to the address below.

Health information

Cradle offers general guidance and reminders about the Dutch care system. It is not medical advice and never replaces your verloskundige, consultatiebureau, or huisarts. In an emergency call 112. Answers written by the assistant are labelled as such, in line with the EU AI Act.
